Steven Goldberg AKA Gold member AKA Goldie, has committed to the prestigious Lehigh University in Pennsylvania. Lehigh is a Division 1 school in the Patriot League. Former Elite Squad player Lance Kirschenbaum is a current student-athlete at Lehigh as well.
Steven had an outstanding career with the Elite Squad over the past two summers most notably in 2011 when he pitched in the Semi Final of the WWBA in East Cobb getting his team to the championship game that they would eventually win. Also this year, Steven was called upon twice in Arizona at the PG world series and came up huge totaling 8 innings in releif when his team needed stops.
