2016 C Luis Chavez has committed to Miami Dade College.
Luis is in his 2nd year with Elite Squad and played for Coach Onel Garcia on 17u Slugger who also happens to be his head coach at Somerset Academy.
Luis is one of the better catch and throw guys we’ve had in our organization but has also come a long way with his bat as he was among the leaderboard hitting over .300 for his Squad this summer. Luis was named to the All Tournament team by Perfect Game during the 17u BCS as well this summer!
