2016 RHP Nick MacDonald has committed to Alabama State University.
Nick is in his second year with Elite Squad. Last year Nick pitched a complete game shutout in the Perfect Game BCS Championship game to collect the rings for his Squad teammates. This year he picked up right where he left off pitching in crucial situations whether it was starting or coming in relief this year for his 17u Prime team. Nick posted a 2.16 era in 8 appearances this summer.
During his high school season Nick had a 2.3 ERA with 42 K’s in 41.2 innings pitched. Nick will join current Elite Squad mate, Derek Cartaya for the Hornets in 2016.
