2016 RHP Ian McEachern has committed to the University of Pepperdine!!!
Ian first came to our program last year as a freshman yet to play a high school game. With his big frame 6-4 200 lbs we knew he was going to be a very interesting prospect for years to come. Unfortunately he was injured his freshman year that did not allow him to play with us that summer. However, because of his hard work and dedication he worked his way back into shape. Now healthy, it wasn’t long before colleges took notice. Ian went to the Perfect Game Jr National Showcase and pitched very well in front of of a sea of schools. His Fastball sat 87-89 touching 90 with a very good breaking ball to go with it.
